Fun for toddler, hard to assemble
My son is 2 and loves this playhouse! He really likes the doorbell, shutters, and built in seat. However, the parents did not love putting this together. The holes were not pre-drilled, so a drill was required to get the screws in. Some places didn't even have a mark to indicate where the screw was supposed to go, and it took us a few tries to get those into the right spot resulting in some extra holes in the playhouse. The grill holes didn't line up properly, so we were only able to get 3 of the 4 screws in there. And this isn't lack of experience putting things together, we had 4 adults trying to figure this thing out. Love the playhouse itself, just wish the assembly process was better.

Fun for the little ones
My granddaughter immediately fell in love with this cottage. It was fairly easy to put together with a stable frame. I would say the roof of it wasn't as sturdy as the rest but once put together it was fine. She enjoys the doorbell, sometimes a bit too much! The sink she hasn't had a whole lot of use out of yet but she is only 16 months, so she doesn't quite know what to do with it. I am sure she will. The shutters in one window is a nice touch my grandchildren play peekaboo with them all the time. I would recommend this to parents who want their children's imagination to grow.

LOVE the Neat & Tidy Cottage II
As a sponsored Step2 Ambassador, I was sent this cottage at no cost to facilitate a review. Assembly was very easy and we had it put together within 30 minutes. The directions were clear and easy to follow. I love the color palette and that the cottage is gender neutral. It's got great features, like the functioning shutters and doorbell, that keep my toddler very busy. I think he really likes to have his very own play space. The Neat & Tidy Cottage II is really easy to wipe down and can be used indoors or outside. Overall, we're very pleased with the cottage and I would absolutely recommend it.

Charming And Realistic
As a Step2 ambassador, I was provided this adorable outdoor playhouse for review. We loved the Neat & Tidy Cottage II for a few reasons, including the built-in floor, real life doorbell and swinging door, as well as tasteful color palette and design. My kids love having working shutters too, as it makes them feel secluded in their own little house and is perfect for independent play. Setup was a breeze and could be done with one person if needed. Our playhouse has been outside for a month in the hot Vegas sun and is not showing signs of any weather decay at all.

Best Birthday Gift Ever !
We purchased this playhouse for our granddaughter, Adelyn, two years ago. She absolutely loved it and it was easy for my son to assemble. It held up well through two Pennsylvania winters and when they sold their house the new owners asked if they would leave it.

Great little play house
I purchased this playhouse for my daughter. It took a bit of time to put together but was much simpler than some that I have seen.
We love the working window shutters and the swinging door. She loves pushing the doorbell!
This seems sturdy and that it will hold up well in a variety of weather and I love that it has a "floor" in it and doesn't just sit on the ground.

No door to happiness
This is the first "big" present we got our one year old son for Christmas. I was putting it together a few days ahead of time so Santa could bring it to our little man. Low and behold, there was no door.We contacted the store we got it from and they would check to see if we could get a door. We may have to send it back, if not, and buy a new one.Now my son either gets no big gift or a partially built gift. Looks like we will have a blue Christmas without the door.
