Would literally buy another one, I love this so much
This was originally a Christmas present for our then 2 year old son and 9 month old daughter. The assembly went very quickly on Christmas Eve, but we have experience with other Step2 products that require assembly. The toy started out indoors for several months due to Pennsylvania's long cold season, then was transferred to the backyard. This toy is so much fun! I have been a passenger as well, purely for safety assurance purposes only. The only downfall is that no matter how much weight we place on it, or what we hit it with, we just can't get the platform flat. When Thomas is ready for launch, he rocks a bit unsteadily. Aside from that, this has been our best purchase yet.

Amazing toy!!
My two special needs boys absolutely love this toy, please don't stop making this. We have the Thomas and I'd love to get this one to go with it. We have the Thomas and the track that they go down and they absolutely love it!!! They will spend hours at a time playing with this toy. It is very sturdy and made very very well!! My oldest is 5 and around 65-70 pounds and it holds him just fine and he fits on the train just fine. It is very very easy to put together you just connect the pieces and very easy to take down and put away. It would be nice to redo it tho and have it to where it folds up for storage. We definitely recommend this toy.

Loved the option of the Percy engine!
First off I just want to say, Thank you Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 Toy Tester Program. My girls were go excited! We are huge fans of step 2 product. My 2 girls are 3.5 yrs old and 20 months, they love the up and down coasters but always get in arguments over the car. It has been an ongoing battle. Thankfully we received Percy in the mail and no more fighting! They both have their own train and take turns with no arguing. Percy is very similar to the Thomas train. Honestly, it is the Thomas train, just a different color and obviously stickers that go with Percy. I highly recommend this item if you need am extra car for you up and down coaster and you have multiple young children

Perfect add-on!
Percy the small engine coaster car is just adorable!! It is a great addition to the Thomas up and down coaster. Super easy to assemble and apply stickers! My girls loved the bright green color of Percy! Keeps my 3 and 5 year old girls busy for hours taking turns going down the track and zooming around the house in their own cars! I'm sure this will provide us with lots of entertainment this winter!! Thank you step2 for letting us test this item as part of the step2 toy testers program! We are having so much fun! This would be a great gift for any child!

Very upset with this product.
I purchased this train for my two year old grandson for Christmas. This was to set out as his large gift from Santa. It had clearly been a returned train from someone else, pieces missing, tape on the train itself from someone else's home. I have tried to contact Step2 for two days now to no avail. Extreme poor quality control and customer service so far.

Fantastic purchase and customer service!
Excellent customer service! We opened the box a few days before Christmas to put it together (and hide!) and there was a piece missing. We contacted customer service and told them this was supposed to be a gift from Santa. They expedited the part and it arrived on Christmas Eve! Santa pulled through and our kids are in love with it! Highly recommend!!

Hours of fun on & off of the Thomas coaster!
Percy the Small Engine is such fun addition to the Thomas the Tank Engine Coaster & is great all on it’s own as well! In our home, little brother always wants to be doing whatever big brother is. Having the Percy coaster car made taking turns so much easier!! While one of my littles was taking his turn on the coaster, the other could ride the second one around the room. My boys did not want to get off!
Assembly is the absolute only reason that I am not giving a full 5 stars. Getting the end cap on the metal rod was a bit of a challenge for me! I was trying to put this together in our playroom (on carpet) & that made it extremely difficult. I recommend putting it together on a harder surface to make the process quick & easy for you!

Stole the show!
The Step 2 Coaster was a last minute decision, but it ended up being the most loved gift. Not only did my 1 year old love it, but my 4 year old loved it as well! They have been playing with it daily too and for hours at a time. They also love the track to "slide" on and my 1 year old loves to just ride the train around too. Plus it was easy and quick to assemble. It also disassembles quickly if one wants to move it to a new location or put it away when not in use. It is very well made. I would highly recommend it to anoyone looking for a great toddler gift.
